SDSD School Parents’ Waiting Area

In order to provide a positive learning environment for our students, beginning immediately, the Hallway will be Food & Noise Free.

•  The front section of the hallway will be used by Faculty  & Students Only. 
•  Parents & siblings must remain within the back seating area of the hallway.
•  No Food Will Be Permitted In the Waiting Area.  Please feed your children (students & siblings) prior to class. 
•  When necessary, Students with multiple classes may eat in the dressing room or the front center student only area.  

SDSD School Entrance

  The SDSD parking lot and entrance are located at the rear of the building. For the safety of our students, please drop-off, pick-up, enter & exit at the rear of the building only. The doors at the front of the building will remain locked at all times.

Parking Lot Etiquette

Students will not be permitted to exit the building unattended.  Parents must come inside the school to pick-up their children. For the safety of our students, please do not park your vehicle in the fire lane, or directly in front of our rear entrance.  Please park your vehicle in a marked parking space when coming in to pick up your child.  For safety reasons, parents must come inside the school to pick up their children.

Parking Lot Dress Code

All Students are required to wear street clothes over their dance attire when entering or exiting the school. Imbedded rocks, pebbles, sand, and dirt are very hard on our professional marley dance floors. Please do not allow your child to wear his/her dance shoes outside on the pavement.

2011 Recital / Year-End Dress Rehearsal & Demonstration

The 2011 Recital Dress Rehearsal will be held at Bellbrook HS on Fri., June 4th, & Sat., June 5th.  The Recital performances will be on Sat., June 5th, and/or Sun., June 6th, at Bellbrook HS.  The $30 Recital Fee (per student) is due on or before Dec. 1, 2010, and should be included in the Dec. 1, 2010 tuition payment.  There will be an additional $10 charge for those students registering to participate in the Recital after Dec. 1, 2010. 

Creative Mvmt, Pre-Ballet, & Pre-Tap Classes (approx. ages 3-6):  Creative Movement & Pre Classes will purchase & keep their costumes.  A $50 (per class) Pre-Paid Costume Fee must be received no later than Dec. 1, 2010 to insure timely delivery.  You will also be required to provide a new pair of tights and appropriate shoes.     

Beginning - Advanced Classes (approx. ages 7-18):  SDSD  will continue to provide costumes for the Yr-End Recital, oftentimes using the mandatory dress code as the base.  You will be required to provide a new pair of tights & the appropriate shoes.  In addition to the $30 Recital Fee, these students will also pay a $5 (per class;  not to exceed $25 per student) Costume Rental / Maintenance Fee.
