Attendance
*Part of the student's attendance is being on time. We suggest arriving at least 10 to 15 minutes early for classes. If any student arrives more than 10 minutes after the start of the class, the child will have to observe. This is to instill discipline, keep class disruption at a minimum, as well as for the child's own safety and to prevent injury from missing proper warm-up.
*Students must be picked up immediately after class. After 2 instances of your child being picked up 15 minutes late, you will be billed $1 per minute. Your child will not be allowed to participate in class until this bill is paid.
*Makup classes are not permitted for absences resulting from participation in other activities such as cheerleading, soccer, piano, parties, scouting activities, etc.
*If you miss class due to illness, you must call the day of the class to schedule a make-up class in the same level or any level lower. All missed classes must be made up within two weeks of absence with the limit of 4 makeup classes per year.
*Attendance will be monitored. At SDSD, we fully believe that what you put in to something is what you get out of it. Absenteeism can have major effects on the child's progress.
